Recently, Doctor Zhong Baoliang of the Center was officially appointed the associate editor-in-chief of Psychology Research and Behavior Management, an SSCI journal.

Psychology Research and Behavior Management is a Q1 journal in Journal Citation Reports (JCR), that is, it is ranked top 25% among international journals in psychology and its newest impact factor is 4.3. The journal focuses on psychology and its application in behavioral management and learning, with subjects covering areas like behaviors, cognition and social neuroscience, society and development psychology, positive psychology and behavioral endocrinology.

This academic appointment represents the first appointment of an employee to a position of an international journal falling Q1 in Journal Citation Reports, marking a new height in the Center’s disciplinary development and further elevation of its international influence. The mental health department of the Center is a key provincial specialty comprised of multiple key municipal specialties such as community mental health, psychological crisis intervention, mental health in children and adolescents and emotional diseases treated by integrating traditional Chinese and western medicines. In recent years, the Center has been recognized as the Hubei Branch of National Mental Health Clinic Research Center, Wuhan Clinical Medical Center for Psychotherapy and Crisis Intervention with sophisticated sub-specialties and leading mental health specialties in China. The hospital has built a “One Hospital Three Areas” development landscape, namely, “psychological health in Erqi Area, mental health in Liujiaoting Area and integrated rehabilitation treatment in Dongxihu Area”, committed to providing high-quality mental and psychological health services for a variety of groups.
